Vaccines for Kittens & Cats

Vaccinating your kitten or cat strengthens their immune system against diseases and viruses. It eliminates some of the risks associated with these potentially fatal diseases. Vaccination helps protect your pet from future complications caused by diseases and viruses.

When should I have my cat vaccinated?

Vaccination is recommended for all cats, even those that don't go outside. The type of vaccine will vary depending on your cat's activities and lifestyle. If you travel with your cat, some countries require certain vaccinations.

At what age should the first vaccinations be given?

Your kitten can get their first shots at 8 weeks. Boosters are given closer together for the first vaccines. Subsequent booster shots are given depending on the vaccine. Some are every year while others are every two or three years.
